Aghora
This is a unique element that comes from the Hindu pantheon; it was formed during the churning of the ocean of milk (primeval ocean), which seems to represent the void in this specific story, however the name Aghora is not it's literal name but rather what we are calling it for now for ease of communication, rather it is known as the Halahala poison.
The energy has two states, active and inactive, the inactive state appears black in color and usually forms a sort of exoskeleton around the energy system of the user, however the active state is red in color and acts as a sort of chaotic energy. In the active state it destroys, hence the name Aghora in reference to Shivas destruction aspect, but it doesn't just destroy, it corrupts and attempts to take over other energies, subduing them and becoming the "Alpha Energy" as one could say.
Aghora is connected to a realm of it's own; whenever someone has it in their system it forms a portal of sorts in their core to that realm to allow them to access it, it's unknown of exactly why this occurs but it is to be assumed that the primordial of this energy programmed it to do so. Something else to note of Aghora is that like other energies it is semi-sentient, one big issue with users of it is that early on they do not know how to control it and may have it acting independently of the holder, potentially leading to disastrous situations.
That leads to another important aspect; When uncontrolled the user will generally report having burning headaches, almost like lava is dripping down their skull and through there energy system. This is generally physically felt as Aghora appears to have a more physical sensation to it than other energies, as of yet it's unknown why.

Where can someone get this source of an energy?
Aghora/Halahala is an energy that Shiva has so you'd primarily have to get it from him.
